Intermediate skaters with the Sherwood Park Skating Club include athletes progressing through the STAR Skate curriculum and beginning their competitive journey on the ice. We are proud to have numerous skaters selected for the Skate Alberta-Northwest Territories-Nunavut Junior Development Team and qualifying for sectional skating events.

Skating up to five times per week, intermediate skaters work both independently and with their coaching team on both figure skating and ice dance and have a free skate solo program that they are able to showcase through multiple competition and performance opportunities each year. In addition to on-ice group instruction, skater registration includes a number of off-ice conditioning programs, including Jump, Ballet, and Fitness.
