Senior

The Sherwood Park Skating Club is the proud home of exceptional senior figure skaters who represent our club with Skate Alberta-Northwest Territories-Nunavut’s Select Team and Skate Canada’s Next Gen Team! Our senior skaters are our most advanced figure skaters and are pursuing completion of their STAR Skate and Gold Level assessments in both figure skating and ice dance. Senior skaters are also competing at the Pre-Novice to Senior levels in competitions across the country, including in Skate Canada qualifying events through the competition structure.

Senior skaters with the Sherwood Park Skating Club are offered flexible training sessions with both on-ice instruction during the day to maximize the balance between their school studies and competitive figure skating or evening lessons. Skating up to six times per week, senior skater registration also includes a host of off-ice conditioning, including Jump, Ballet, Fitness, and Yoga.

Skaters work independently as well as with their coaching team to reach their goals.
